5Rs Framework
The 5Rs framework is a comprehensive way to represent the dynamic relationship between people, their environment, and fire. It begins with the first "R," which emphasizes review and analysis, laying the foundation for understanding fire in its proper context. Once understood, the other four "R's" guide actions and activities across landscapes and within communities. Importantly, at every stage of the 5Rs, feedback and new insights must be integrated into all steps to continuously improve fire management.
